A Vigilância Sanitária de Nova Serrana alerta os prestadores de serviços de embelezamento (salões de beleza) a estarem atentos às normas. Prevenir doenças e promover saúde é dever de todos. A estes se juntam os órgãos deste setor em cada abrangência: municipal, estadual e federal.
Nos cuidados que envolvem prestadores de serviço e usuários, a Vigilância recomenda ainda a opção pelo uso de boas práticas. Isso no que se refere a instalações físicas, medidas de higiene e limpeza, controle de produtos e esterilização de materiais.
Todo cuidado é pouco quando se lida com o público, em especial quando a atividade pode prejudicar a saúde do cliente e/ou do profissional. Para obter a satisfação, tanto os prestadores de serviço, como os consumidores devem observar:
Higienização do ambiente, mobiliários;
Limpeza em todo o ambiente: as escovas e pentes precisam estar limpos;
Os produtos utilizados para embelezamento devem possuir registro junto a Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa);
Toalhas devem estar limpas, e preferencialmente embaladas em saco plástico, individualmente (as toalhas devem ser trocadas a cada procedimento); guardadas de forma organizada em local limpo, seco e arejado;
Na hora da depilação, é importante observar: se a cera quente não está sendo reaproveitada. Os produtos usados na depilação devem ser industriais, nunca caseiros.
Os consumidores devem observar se os artigos de unha foram esterilizados (alicate, afastador de cutícula). Isso é importante para evitar a transmissão de doenças. Lixas de unha e palitos de madeira são de uso individual.
