O prefeito Euzebio Lago assinou na terça-feira (26), um termo de colaboração para manutenção das atividades da Associação Beneficente Conceição Maria do Amaral (Casa da Sopa). O termo também foi assinado pela presidente da instituição, Maysa Cassia Vasconcelos Amaral.
O convênio, no valor de R$177.319,71, será repassado pela administração municipal em parcelas mensais até dezembro de 2022 e deverá ser aplicado de acordo com o Plano de Trabalho apresentado pela Casa da Sopa.
A Associação Beneficente Conceição Maria do Amaral (Casa da Sopa) atende centenas de famílias de baixa renda de Nova Serrana, oferecendo atividades e oficinas de artesanato, bordado, tricô e crochê, ballet, Jiu-Jitsu, dança e música, além de cursos de informática para crianças, adolescentes, adultos e idosos, em situação de vulnerabilidade social e distribuição de marmitas a população carente.
“É dever do poder público promover qualidade de vida e dignidade para as famílias residentes no município. Através dessas instituições filantrópicas, como Casa da Sopa, Apae, Lar Vicentino e tantas outras, o governo municipal alcança setores da sociedade que precisam da parceria com o poder público para continuarem a prestação de seus serviços”, disse Euzebio.
