O secretário de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade, Gabriel Chaves, a superintendente de Meio Ambiente, Ana Carolina Mello, juntamente com representantes do Sindinova visitaram na tarde desta quinta (22) alguns terrenos, dentre os quais será feita a escolha do que melhor atenderá a demanda para construção de uma usina de reciclagem.
Na terça (20), o prefeito Euzebio Lago esteve reunido com os envolvidos na iniciativa. Nesta ocasião, é que foi feita por parte do Sindinova, a solicitação do apoio do governo municipal para a montagem da usina, que será voltada para os resíduos industriais. Durante o momento, o chefe do executivo garantiu a disponibilização do terreno por parte do município e a parceria para realização do licenciamento e do projeto. O objetivo da construção é a redução de gastos com o envio de resíduos gerados pela indústria para fora da cidade.
