Foi assinada nesta quinta-feira (15), em Perdigão, a ordem de serviço para início das obras de otimização do Sistema de Abastecimento de Água (SAA). Serão investidos R$ 4,8 milhões. De acordo com a Copasa, as intervenções começam ainda em julho.
Um encontro na sede da Prefeitura, com a participação do vice-governador de Minas Gerais, Paulo Rocha Brant, do diretor-presidente da Copasa, Carlos Eduardo Tavares de Castro, e do prefeito de Perdigão, Gilmar Teodoro, selou o início das obras na cidade. As obras contarão com a implantação de 8.879 metros de adutora de água bruta e uma nova captação no rio Lambari, que aumentará em 30% a capacidade de produção de água.
Os recursos já estão assegurados no programa orçamentário da Copasa. A previsão é de que as intervenções comecem no dia 19 de julho e devem durar um ano. “Essa parceria é fundamental para resolver, em definitivo, a situação do abastecimento na cidade, ainda mais trazendo água de uma área livre de poluição como o rio Lambari”, afirmou o prefeito Gilmar Teodoro.
