A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana entrega nesta sexta (17), às 17h, o Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Maria Aparecida de Andrade “Tia Cidinha”. A unidade de ensino atende famílias dos bairros Jardim América, Novo Horizonte e adjacências.
O Cmei Tia Cidinha, que já está em funcionamento, atende uma grande demanda por vagas em instituição de ensino infantil daquela região. O local, que acolhe 154 alunos de pré-04 em tempo integral, já beneficia famílias dos bairros Jardim América, Novo Horizonte, Maria Luiza, José Rodrigues e Veredas da Serra.
O prefeito Euzebio Lago chama a atenção para a importância da conclusão desta obra. “Esta é mais uma das unidades que herdamos inacabada de outra administração. A obra sofreu com atrasos nos rapasses por parte do governo federal. Graças ao empenho desta gestão, conseguimos finalizá-la e hoje ela já cumpre seu papel, o qual é atender as crianças daquela região, dando aos pais tranquilidade e segurança ao saírem de casa, já que sabem que seus filhos estão em uma instituição de qualidade, sendo cuidadas por profissionais”.
Segundo a prefeitura, foram aplicados na obra R$ 1.819.026,65 (FNDE) e R$ 929.708,27 (recurso próprios), totalizando R$2.748.734,89 em investimentos.
