Em parceria com a Câmara Municipal, a prefeitura de Nova Serrana faz nesta quarta (5) a entrega de veículos e equipamentos para a Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM). São mais de 240 mil reais em investimentos, a fim de possibilitar melhores condições de trabalho para os agentes.
A aquisição dos equipamentos e dos veículos foi garantida por meio de recursos próprios do município, emenda impositivas do vereador Adilson Pacheco e repasse feito por meio de decisão conjunta dos vereadores.
Serão entregues 67 unidades de spray espargidor não letal, 10 kits spark (dispositivo elétrico não letal), 2 veículos Renault Kwid, além da adaptação de 2 celas prisionais para veículos já utilizados pela corporação. No total, o investimento é de 241.867,60.
“Segurança é prioridade deste governo. Sempre foi. Desde 2017 estamos investindo pesado em segurança, de forma especial na reestruturação da Guarda Civil Municipal. Fizemos um edital para o concurso, treinamos e capacitamos os novos agentes e temos garantido boas condições de trabalhos, com aquisição de veículos, equipamentos, uniformes e capacitação para os agentes”, comenta o prefeito Euzebio Lago.
A cerimônia acontecerá no Centro Administrativo, às 9h com a presença do prefeito Euzebio Lago e do secretário de Trânsito, Transporte e Defesa Social, Antônio Marcos, além de vereadores e autoridades municipais. (com Prefeitura de N.S.)
