A UBS do bairro Belvedere foi oficialmente inaugurada no sábado (21), em Nova Serrana. O local atenderá 935 famílias dos bairros Antônio Venâncio, Belvedere, Lincoln Nogueira, Esplanada e adjacentes.
“Além das obras iniciadas e concluídas por este governo, todas as obras iniciadas antes da gente assumir em 2017, nós terminamos. Primeiro porque é uma obrigação nossa e o dinheiro é público. Mas aqui, nesta unidade de saúde a situação é diferente. Não estamos fazendo nada para enganar a população. Estamos começando aqui com uma unidade de saúde, que já está funcionando desde dezembro de 2021. Antes disso, os moradores do Antônio Venâncio, Esplanada e Lincoln Nogueira estavam indo na Policlínica para fazer uma consulta. Em uma segunda etapa vamos inaugurar aqui também a unidade de especialidades médicas e um centro de imagens. Vamos dar a destinação correta ao dinheiro que chega do governo federal e oferecer qualidade de vida para estas famílias que pagam seus impostos e têm o direito constitucional de receber atendimento de saúde gratuito e de qualidade”, disse o prefeito Euzebio Lago durante o evento.
Também participaram da cerimônia a secretária de Saúde Glaucia Sbampato, secretários municipais, vereadores, moradores dos bairros beneficiados e membros da família de Ana Maria Braga, que dá nome a unidade e recebeu uma homenagem durante o evento.
