A Prefeitura de Nova Serrana informa que já iniciou a substituição das antigas luminárias instaladas nas principais vias da cidade por equipamentos de LED. As novas luminárias são mais modernas, eficientes e contribuirão para economia de recursos com iluminação pública.
Na primeira etapa do projeto serão substituídas 1.710 luminárias em diversas vias da cidade, de forma especial as ruas com maior fluxo de pedestres e veículos. O investimento inicial será de R$2,3 milhões de recursos do próprio município.
De acordo com a Secretaria de Obras e Planejamento Urbano, entre os meses de maio e junho de 2021 serão substituídas outras 1200 luminárias, incrementando o investimento em mais R$1,5.
No total, o projeto integral contempla a substituição de 2.910 luminárias, um investimento de R$3,8 milhões.
