A presidente do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), ministra Cármen Lúcia, conclamou nesta quinta-feira (3) os eleitores a comparecem às urnas no próximo domingo (6), dia do primeiro turno das eleições municipais.
Durante a última sessão do TSE antes do primeiro turno, realizada na manhã de ontem, a ministra disse que os servidores da Justiça Eleitoral trabalharam para receber os eleitores no dia da votação. “Os dedicados servidores da Justiça Eleitoral brasileira, mais de 20 mil servidores, trabalharam com afinco, com todo empenho para que todos os brasileiros chegassem à cabine [de votação] com tranquilidade e sossego, mas, principalmente, com liberdade para escolher o que ele quer. O que os eleitores colocarem nas urnas será apurado, e o resultado apurado será proclamado”, afirmou.
A ministra também disse que espera que os eleitores não “depositem seus dissabores na vida” na hora de votar. “Este é um momento de tranquilidade democrática, de civismo responsável e de alegria. A gente não espera que as pessoas depositem os seus dissabores na vida, ou ideológicos, diferenças que nos enriquecem”, disse.
A presidente também disse esperar tranquilidade durante o pleito. “Não esperamos que haja práticas nem de ofensas, nem de violência, nem de inaceitação das diferenças, porque é dessas diferenças que nós realizamos a pluralidade, que é um direito constitucional de todo mundo”, completou.
O primeiro turno das eleições será no domingo (6). O segundo turno da disputa poderá ser realizado em 27 de outubro em 103 municípios com mais de 200 mil eleitores, nos quais nenhum dos candidatos à prefeitura atingir mais da metade dos votos válidos, excluídos os brancos e nulos, no primeiro turno.
