Na terça-feira (05), por volta das 17h, durante patrulhamento de uma equipe da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) no Km 07 da BR-381, Rodovia Fernão Dias, em Vargem/SP, foi dada ordem de parada a uma caminhonete Toyota/Hilux.
Durante a abordagem, o condutor da caminhonete informou ser fabricante de calçados na cidade de Nova Serrana e estava retornando de São Paulo após uma reunião de negócios. Contudo, os demais ocupantes do veículo apresentaram respostas divergentes acerca do real motivo da viagem.
Diante da situação, a equipe da PRF realizou uma vistoria mais detalhada no interior da caminhonete e localizou R$ 108.760,00 reais numa mochila.
Indagado sobre a origem do dinheiro, o condutor disse aos polícias que a quantia seria referente a várias vendas de seus calçados e que seus produtos eram falsificados e sua empresa não possuía qualquer regulamentação fiscal e trabalhista.
Diante dos fatos, a ocorrência foi encaminhada para o Departamento de Polícia civil de Bragança Paulista/SP. (COMUNICAÇÃO MINISTÉRIO DA JUSTIÇA E SEGURANÇA PÚBLICA)
