A Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) registrou 926 acidentes durante a Operação Nossa Senhora Aparecida 2023, encerrada na madrugada deste domingo (15). Deste total, 263 foram considerados graves, deixando 1065 pessoas feridas e 79 mortas.
Em 2022, no mesmo período, ocorreram 940 acidentes, sendo 271 graves. No total, morreram 80 pessoas e 1116 pessoas ficaram feridas. A comparação mostra a redução de 3% no número de acidentes graves; e de 4,8% no número de pessoas feridas. A PRF lembra que a operação iniciada no dia 11 de outubro compreende um período de grande fluxo de pedestres e de veículos.
Ao todo, 54.309 veículos foram fiscalizados por mais de 9 mil policiais escalados para a operação. Os 31.564 testes de alcoolemia feitos nos motoristas resultaram em 1092 autuações.
Segundo a PRF, 36.591 condutores foram flagrados dirigindo em uma velocidade acima do limite da pista. Outros 5697 foram flagrados cometendo ultrapassagens irregulares; e 3404 veículos foram autuados com motoristas ou passageiros sem usarem devidamente o cinto de segurança.
A PRF registrou 517 casos de crianças ou bebês que estavam sendo transportados sem o uso adequado da cadeirinha.
Criminalidade
A Operação Nossa Senhora Aparecida apreendeu, durante o período, 10 toneladas de maconha e retirou de circulação 17 armas de fogo e 194 munições irregulares. Além disso, recuperou 93 veículos com registro de roubo ou furto e deteve 593 pessoas. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
