Cerca de 85 mil segurados do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS) que recebem o benefício por incapacidade temporária (antigo auxílio-doença) podem ter o benefício suspenso até quinta-feira (11). Eles foram convocados pela operação pente-fino do órgão para fazerem perícia médica a fim de verificar possíveis irregularidades.
Em 27 de setembro, o INSS convocou 95.588 segurados para agendarem perícia médica até 11 de novembro. Segundo o órgão, até agora somente 10.397 marcaram o exame, com 85.191 passíveis de perderem o auxílio de incapacidade temporária.

Desde julho, o órgão está enviando cartas a 170 mil segurados. As perícias começaram em agosto. Quem recebe a notificação tem 30 dias, a contar da data de recebimento informada pelos Correios, para agendar o procedimento.
De acordo com o INSS, as pessoas convocadas por meio do Diário Oficial não foram localizadas nos endereços da base de dados do órgão ou receberam a carta de notificação, mas não marcaram a perícia médica.
O exame pode ser marcado de três formas: pelo aplicativo Meu INSS, pela central de atendimento 135 ou pelo site do INSS (https://meu.inss.gov.br//). O beneficiário deve levar os seguintes documentos no dia da perícia: carteira de identidade, Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF), exames médicos recentes que comprovem a incapacidade de trabalhar e laudo com nome do médico, registro no Conselho Regional de Medicina (CRM), código da doença/CID (classificação internacional de doenças) e a descrição da doença.
