A Receita Estadual cumpriu, nesta quinta-feira (14), mandados judiciais de busca e apreensão em sete endereços localizados nas cidades de Nova Serrana e Moema, com o objetivo de enfrentar um complexo esquema de constituição irregular de empresas na forma de microempreendedores individuais (MEIs) para promover a sonegação fiscal, especialmente do ICMS.
A operação “Tição de Lolau”, desenvolvida em parceria com o Ministério Público e as polícias Civil e Militar, teve origem em uma investigação sobre o tráfico de drogas. No decorrer dos trabalhos, foi identificada a diversificação das atividades do grupo criminoso, chegando à sonegação fiscal. As buscas e apreensões visam desmontar a quadrilha e enfrentar cada um dos departamentos do crime em que se especializaram.
Cabe ao Fisco mineiro atuar sobre o “departamento” do esquema voltado para o registro irregular de microempreendedores individuais, que se utiliza de dados cadastrais de terceiros (“laranjas”) para a abertura de Inscrição Estadual e, assim, emitir documentos fiscais de vários tipos de mercadorias sem o recolhimento do imposto, dado o benefício da isenção fiscal concedida aos MEIs. Para isso, o grupo criminoso pagava uma comissão aos participantes do esquema.
Os levantamentos iniciais apontam a criação de pelo menos 1.300 MEIs pelo grupo fraudador. O valor da fraude ainda está sendo apurado.
O nome da operação, “Tição de Lolau”, faz referência ao personagem mítico que atuou em um dos trabalhos de Hércules ensinando o mitológico herói a cauterizar as cabeças decepadas de um monstro que enfrentou, para que não nascessem outras no lugar.
