Fraudadores estão enviando e-mails com falsos saldos residuais do Imposto de Renda para enganar contribuintes, alertou nesta terça-feira (16) a Receita Federal. A mensagem, segundo o Fisco, não passa de golpe e deve ser ignorada.
Em nota, a Receita informou que não envia e-mails ou mensagens de nenhum tipo que contenham informações do contribuinte, peçam dados pessoais ou informem trâmites sobre o Imposto de Renda ou sobre processos em andamento.
Segundo o Fisco, a única mensagem que o contribuinte poderá receber no e-mail ou no celular é um alerta para entrar no Centro de Atendimento Virtual (e-CAC) do Fisco e conferir pendências. A novidade entra em vigor na declaração do Imposto de Renda Pessoa Física deste ano.
Somente no e-CAC, esclarece a Receita, o contribuinte terá um ambiente seguro, acessado com login e senha ou certificado digital, para conferir problemas no processamento da declaração.
O Fisco recomenda que o cidadão não clique em nenhum link ou não interaja com e-mails recebidos em nome da Receita, mesmo que pareçam legítimos.
