O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sancionou nesta terça-feira (3), sem vetos, o projeto de lei que cria o Programa Desenrola Brasil, de renegociação de dívidas. O texto foi aprovado pelo Senado, na semana passada, em tramitação final no Congresso. O projeto, agora transformado em lei, também limita os juros do rotativo e do parcelado do cartão de crédito.
Caso não fosse sancionado, o Desenrola perderia a validade esta semana. Isso porque a medida provisória (MP) que criou o programa foi editada no início de junho. Durante a tramitação na Câmara dos Deputados, a MP foi incorporada ao projeto que cria um teto para os juros de modalidades do cartão. As taxas terão um teto de 100% do valor da dívida caso as instituições financeiras não apresentem uma proposta de autorregulação em 90 dias. O limite de 100%, que dobra o valor original do débito, foi inspirado na experiência de países como o Reino Unido. O projeto aprovado, no entanto, não prevê o fim do parcelamento de compras no cartão de crédito sem juros.
Nome limpo
Desde que o programa foi instituído, cerca de 6 milhões de brasileiros conseguiram tirar o nome de cadastros negativos por renegociarem dívidas de até R$ 100. A dívida não é perdoada, mas o devedor deixa de ficar com o nome sujo e pode contrair novos empréstimos e realizar operações, como fechar contratos de aluguel.
Segunda fase
Agora, o Programa Desenrola já está na segunda fase, que pode abranger cerca de 32,5 milhões de consumidores que ganham até dois salários mínimos.
Interessados em renegociar dívidas no Desenrola precisam ter cadastro no Portal Gov.Br (CLIQUE AQUI) A previsão é que a abertura da plataforma ocorra no dia 9 de outubro. Os interessados podem renegociar suas dívidas com descontos e pagá-las à vista ou em até 60 meses, com juros de até 1,99% ao mês. (COM AGÊNCIA BRASIL)
