SANCIONADA LEI QUE DISPÕE SOBRE CADASTRO DE ALUNOS DA REDE PÚBLICA PARA ESTÁGIO

Foi sancionada pelo governador Romeu Zema, na edição de sábado (31) do Diário Oficial do Estado, a Lei 23.851, que dispõe sobre o cadastramento para estágio dos alunos do ensino médio da rede pública estadual. A matéria foi aprovada pelo Plenário da ALMG em 12 de julho e teve origem no PL 314/15, do deputado Arlen Santiago (PTB).

A nova norma altera a Lei 12.079, de 1996, que trata do estágio de estudantes na administração pública, e determina que as escolas públicas poderão encaminhar aos órgãos e entidades da administração pública cadastro de alunos interessados em ocupar as vagas de estágio oferecidas.

O texto aumenta de 5% para 10% o percentual de vagas de estágio que poderão ser destinadas a pessoas com deficiência e também insere a possibilidade de obtenção de estágio para alunos dos últimos anos do ensino fundamental na modalidade profissional da educação de jovens e adultos.

A lei 23.851 também alterou a Lei 14.697, de 2003, que institui o Programa Primeiro Emprego no Estado. O objetivo é que as escolas públicas possam encaminhar o cadastro de estagiários a entidades da administração pública e também ao grupo técnico encarregado de instituir as regras para encaminhamento às empresas contribuintes de ICMS que aderirem ao programa.

O texto prevê ainda a possibilidade de haver uma exceção na destinação de vagas para pessoas com deficiência: quando não houver candidato com esse perfil.
