Depois de bater três recordes consecutivos na taxa de ocupação de leitos de UTI, Belo Horizonte vai voltar a fechar as portas de seu comércio, numa tentativa de conter o avanço da Covid-19. A taxa agora atingiu 86,1% – o maior valor desde agosto.
O prefeito Alexandre Kalil (PSD) anunciou, em suas redes sociais, que apenas os serviços essenciais poderão funcionar na cidade já a partir da próxima segunda-feira (11): “Sexta-feira o decreto vai ser publicado e segunda-feira a cidade está fechada”, disse.
Na tarde desta quarta-feira (6), houve uma nova reunião do Comitê de Enfrentamento à Covid-19 para analisar os indicadores da doença na cidade, que não param de piorar. A decisão foi pelo fechamento de tudo o que não for essencial, exceto praças públicas e o zoológico, com visitas agendadas.
“Chegamos ao limite da covid-19. Nós avisamos, nós tentamos avisar. Tentamos manter a cidade aberta há 10 dias, quando os números ainda eram perigosos, mas nós tínhamos, pelo menos, uma expectativa de responsabilidade (…) O comerciante tem que se preparar porque sexta-feira nós estamos soltando um decreto voltando a cidade à estaca zero”, disse Kalil.
