A Câmara Municipal de Nova Serrana, representada por seu presidente, vereador Guilherme Bueno, e demais vereadores, participou nesta sexta-feira (04/04) da inauguração da nova Central de Videomonitoramento no 60º Batalhão da Polícia Militar.
O sistema já existia e era coordenado estrategicamente pela Guarda Municipal. Com a transferência para o 60º BPM, ele passa a operar em uma central integrada, permitindo o monitoramento em tempo real de 143 pontos estratégicos, abrangendo tanto a zona urbana quanto a rural.
A indicação da transferência de todo o sistema para o Batalhão de Polícia Militar é de autoria do vereador Cabo John. O objetivo é potencializar o uso da tecnologia no combate à criminalidade. Com a nova estrutura, as forças de segurança poderão atuar de forma mais coordenada e responder com ainda mais agilidade, garantindo mais proteção para a população.
O presidente da Câmara, vereador Guilherme Bueno, destacou o compromisso do Legislativo com a segurança pública. “O Poder Legislativo de Nova Serrana atua em parceria com as forças de segurança, apoiando suas ações não apenas institucionalmente, mas também destinando recursos importantes para o setor. Essa união se concretiza em investimentos como a aquisição de equipamentos, viaturas e também com modernização dos sistemas. Tudo isso é fundamental para o combate à criminalidade e para que a nossa população se sinta cada vez mais segura”, ressalta Guilherme Bueno. (COM INF. CÂMARA N.S.)
