O Imposto sobre a Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA) de 2024 foi lançado oficialmente pela Secretaria de Estado de Fazenda de Minas Gerais (SEF/MG), por meio da Resolução 5.737, publicada na edição desta terça-feira (5/12) do Diário Oficial do Estado.

 

A escala de pagamentos da primeira parcela ou cota única começa em 15/1/2024 para veículos com finais de placas 1 e 2, e termina em 22/3/2024 para a quitação da terceira parcela dos veículos com finais de placas 9 e 0.

 

A expectativa de arrecadação é de R$ 10,6 bilhões, R$ 500 milhões a mais, se comparado ao IPVA de 2023. O incremento se deve, principalmente, ao aumento de 2,88% na frota estadual, que subiu de 10.888.654 para 11.201.920 veículos registrados até outubro deste ano.

 

Ainda em comparação ao IPVA 2023, o valor do imposto teve uma redução média de 3,37%, em função, principalmente, da depreciação do valor dos veículos usados.

 

Distribuição

Do total arrecadado, 40% vão para o caixa único do Estado, outros 40% são destinados aos municípios de emplacamento dos veículos e 20% vão para o Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Fundeb).

 

Consulta e pagamento

A consulta do valor do imposto pode ser feita por meio do número do Renavam do veículo, no site da Secretaria de Fazenda ou no LigMinas pelo telefone 155 válido para todo o estado de Minas Gerais.

 

Já o pagamento – em cota única (com desconto de 3%) ou parcelado em até três vezes – deve ser efetuado diretamente nos terminais de autoatendimento ou guichês dos agentes arrecadadores autorizados (Bradesco, Sicoob, Mercantil do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, Casas Lotéricas, Mais BB e Santander), bastando informar o número do Renavam.
