Um temporal no início da noite de quinta (19) provocou transtornos e alagamentos em Nova Serrana. A forte chuva foi informada pela Defesa Civil Estadual por mensagem emitida às pessoas cadastradas no serviço de alerta (SMS 40199).
A forte chuva causou alagamentos em pontos já conhecidos na cidade, deixando um rastro de sujeira e prejuízos por diversas ruas, em bairros e no Centro de Nova Serrana.
Em meio à enxurrada, notícias falsas espalharam pelas redes sociais sendo compartilhada por diversas pessoas sem confirmar dos fatos. Na manhã desta sexta (20), o Corpo de Bombeiros em Nova Serrana desmentiu informações de que um carro teria sido levado pela água, ao passar na ponte da avenida José João Rodrigues, próximo do Centro Administrativo, no ribeirão Pavão.
Servidores municipais se empenharam nas primeiras horas de hoje na limpeza urbana.
Comerciantes, empresários e consumidores residenciais da CEMIG reclamaram piques e falta de energia na região leste de Nova Serrana, compreendendo os bairros Cidade Nova, São Geraldo, Santa Cruz e Morada do Sol.
Previsão do tempo no final de semana
Tempestades e dias quentes são comuns entre os meses de setembro, outubro e novembro; antes do período chuvoso que se inicia em dezembro e vai até março, em nossa região.
Neste final de semana continuam previstas tempestades entre hoje e amanhã, sábado (21). No início da próxima semana, domingo (22), não está previsto chuva. As temperaturas ficarão amenas, com termômetros variando em 17 °C e 29 °C.
