O Distrito de Boa Vista, em Nova Serrana, se prepara para receber, nos dias 03, 04 e 05 de outubro, mais uma edição do Tradicional Reinado, o mais antigo do município, celebrado desde 1845. Reconhecido como Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial de Nova Serrana e de Minas Gerais, o evento é um dos marcos mais expressivos da religiosidade popular, da identidade afro-brasileira e da preservação da memória coletiva da região.
As comemorações tiveram início no dia 13 de setembro, com o levantamento do mastro, e seguem com o tríduo preparatório em honra a Nossa Senhora do Carmo. No dia 1º de outubro será realizada a missa com os festeiros da Coroa, e no dia 02 de outubro, a missa com os festeiros da Bandeira.
A programação oficial tem início em 03 de outubro, sexta-feira, com rituais do Reinado e show da cantora Jacke Neves. No sábado (04), a festa continua com apresentações culturais e show de Joãozinho e Seus Teclados.
O grande encerramento será no domingo (05) que começa com alvorada festiva, recepção das guardas, café da manhã, visitas das rainhas e princesa, procissões, missa campal com congadas na Praça da Igreja, além dos tradicionais desfiles pelo Distrito e finalizando a festividade com o descimento das bandeiras.
Com quase dois séculos de tradição, o Reinado de Boa Vista é um símbolo de fé e também um importante atrativo turístico e cultural, reunindo fiéis, congadeiros e visitantes de toda a região. Sua relevância fortalece a história local, promove a cultura e mantém vivas práticas transmitidas de geração em geração.
O Reinado de Boa Vista é patrimônio imaterial do Município de Nova Serrana e do Estado de Minas Gerais. O evento conta com o apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Nova Serrana | Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo e faz parte do Calendário Oficial do Município.
