Unidades de saúde de Nova Serrana realizam ações voltadas ao Outubro Rosa, mês de conscientização do câncer de mama, nos dias 23 e 30 deste mês. As ações envolvem orientações, solicitação de mamografia, e agendamento de consultas. Neste sábado (23), as atividades serão promovidas em dois PSF’s: Francisco Azevedo, no Centro do município, e no Adão Pinto da Fonseca, no bairro Cidade Nova III.
Segundo a prefeitura, durante o mês de outubro, os postos de saúde da cidade, entre Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBSs) e Estratégias de Saúde da Família (ESFs), vão realizar diversas ações nos dois últimos sábados de outubro. Serão dadas orientações sobre a promoção e prevenção da saúde da mulher, prevenção ao câncer de mama e ao câncer de colo de útero, coleta de exames citopatologicos, solicitação de mamografia, consultas médicas, vacinas, teste rápido (Sífilis, Hepatite B e Hepatite C), aferição de pressão arterial, busca ativa Bolsa Família, cadastros domiciliares (intensificação), ações com equipe multiprofissional NASF e Saúde Bucal.
