Cerca de 1,5 milhão de brasileiros estão com a segunda dose da vacina contra a covid-19 atrasada. O dado foi divulgado nesta terça-feira (13) pelo ministro da Saúde, Marcelo Queiroga.. Segundo o ministro, a pasta vai divulgar uma lista, por estado, de pessoas que estão com a segunda dose atrasada.
A complementação do esquema vacinal, ressaltou, será feita com o apoio do Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Saúde. Aos que estão com a segunda dose atrasada, o Ministério da Saúde orienta que não deixem de ir a um posto de vacinação para completar a imunização.
– Intervalos
Desde que começou a vacinação da população contra a covid-19, duas vacinas são aplicadas no Brasil: a da farmacêutica CoronaVac, produzida pelo Instituto Butantan, em São Paulo, e a da farmacêutica AstraZeneca, em parceria com a Universidade de Oxford, produzida pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, Fiocruz. No caso da CoronaVac, estudos apontam melhor eficiência quando a segunda dose é aplicada num intervalo de 21 a 28 dias. Já a vacina da AstraZeneca deve ter a segunda dose aplicada em intervalo maior, de três meses.
