Foi prorrogada a Campanha de Vacinação Antirrábica em cães e gatos em Nova Serrana. Iniciada no dia 1º de julho, a programação se estenderá até o sábado (17/8).
Durante todo o mês de julho, o Centro de Controle de Zoonoses (CCZ) promoveu a vacinação tanto na zona rural, quanto urbana do município. No entanto, a adesão foi abaixo do esperado.
No intuito de conseguir uma maior aderência, a campanha foi prorrogada. Os tutores que ainda não levaram seus animais para receber o imunizante, podem fazer ainda durante esta semana e na próxima.
A vacinação está acontecendo todos os dias, de segunda a sexta-feira, das 7h às 16h, no Centro de Controle de Zoonoses, que fica localizado na avenida José Correia de Lacerda; S/N. O telefone de contato é o: 3226-4017.
No sábado dia 17 de agosto, último dia de imunização antirrábica em cães e gatos, acontecerá das 8h às 15h, uma ação em vários bairros da cidade, sendo eles: Planalto (na Praça), no Frei Ambrósio (Escola Dona Conceição Aparecida dos Santos Souza), Santa Luzia (Escola José Américo de Lacerda), no Romeu Duarte (Escola Alice Cândida dos Santos), e no São Geraldo (no MAC Supermercados).
Vacinar é um ato de cuidado com os animais e também com a saúde da população! Não deixe de levar seu cão ou gato!!
