Os vereadores da Câmara Municipal de Nova Serrana se reuniram nesta segunda-feira (24/02), para debater medidas voltadas à melhoria do trânsito no município. Os debates sobre esse tema são constantes na Câmara, no entanto, após vários episódios de acidentes graves no município, os vereadores reforçaram o pedido de atenção das forças de segurança quanto ao trânsito em Nova Serrana. O encontro também destacou a importância de ações preventivas e a colaboração entre os poderes públicos e as forças de segurança para garantir um trânsito mais seguro e organizado para a população.
Os vereadores também enfatizaram o papel essencial das instituições de segurança pública nesse processo. A Polícia Militar, a Polícia Civil e a Guarda Municipal desempenham funções fundamentais na fiscalização, no combate a infrações e na implementação de medidas educativas. O trabalho integrado dessas entidades é essencial para coibir imprudências e melhorar a fluidez do trânsito.
Participaram da reunião os vereadores Guilherme Bueno (presidente da Câmara), Breno Fonseca (autor da solicitação da reunião), Ricardo Tobias, Adilson Pacheco, Milton Klier, Cleiton Surf Star, Maycon Vinícius, Laércio Amaral, Naide Santos, Kaio Rodrigues, Natan Oliveira, Cabo John, Dué, Dyhego Camilo e Heliene Santana. Além deles, participaram também as seguintes autoridades: Jorge Rocha, comandante da Guarda Municipal; Diógenes Caldas, Delegado de Polícia Civil; Wemerson Lino Pimenta, Secretário Municipal de Segurança; os policiais militares Renato Geraldo Silva, Samuel Moreira Barcelos, Lorena Evelin, André; Tiago Lemes, superintendente de segurança; Patrícia Feitosa, Diretora de Transporte e Kelly Marinho.
