Os vereadores da Câmara Municipal de Nova Serrana valorizam as ações, visando melhorar as condições de vida de todos os idosos. Nesta sexta-feira (29/09) todos tiveram oportunidade de compartilhar um momento muito especial para as pessoas da terceira idade que vivem no Lar Vicentino Padre Lauro: a inauguração da “Sala de Convivência dos Idosos”.
A inauguração contou com uma missa e, logo em seguida, todos os presentes puderam acompanhar a benção ao novo espaço. A sala de convivência dos idosos foi adquirida por meio de um projeto apresentado ao edital de chamamento público do Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Pessoa Idosa, recursos do Fundo Municipal do Idoso, através do Imposto de Renda.
Na ocasião, os vereadores Adimilson Cheiroso (PV) e Willian Barcelos (PTB), ouviram a solicitação da equipe da Distac Contabilidade, enfatizando que seria importante apresentar aos deputados estaduais e federais uma proposta de ampliar as formas para que mais pessoas também façam a doação e contribuir diretamente no ato da declaração do imposto de renda para com os fundos. Os vereadores se disponibilizaram a formatar, juntos, uma proposta para se atingir tal objetivo.
Também prestigiaram a inauguração da sala de convivência os assessores dos vereadores Guilherme Bueno, Cleiton Surf Star, Cabral, Dete do Katôco, Geraldo Eletricista e Dr. Rodrigo Fisioterapeuta.
A sala de convivência está equipada com sistema de som e televisão, mesa com cadeiras e, além disso, também foram adquiridas cadeiras de rodas e cadeiras de banho. A sala ficou bem bonita e aconchegante e se tornou um novo ambiente para os idosos poderem passar importantes momentos de descontração e lazer.
