Um homem, de 44 anos, foi preso na noite da última sexta-feira (19), por suspeita de envolvimento na morte de Luiz Eustáquio da Fonseca, 67 anos, e Fabiana Cezar da Fonseca, 30 anos, que são pai e filha. O crime que chocou a cidade de Pitangui foi registrado na quinta (18), na Comunidade Rural de Sacramento.
A Polícia Militar disse que o homem detido no Bairro Padre Libério é o responsável por ter levado o assassino ao local do crime, além de ter emprestado a ele uma arma de fogo. Na casa dele a polícia ainda encontrou o capacete e as peças de roupas usadas no dia do crime, bem como a motocicleta utilizada para levar o autor dos disparos ao local. Diante disso, o homem e os materiais foram levados à Delegacia de Polícia Civil de Nova Serrana. Já o veículo foi apreendido e encaminhado ao pátio credenciado.
O suspeito do duplo homicídio, de 26 anos, era ex-namorado de Fabiana e tem passagens por vários crimes, entre eles, ameaça e roubo. A motivação do crime não foi informada.
A Polícia Militar informou que continua em diligências para localizar o autor do crime e solicita que caso algum cidadão tenha alguma informação, repasse via 190 ou através do 181 – Disque Denúncia Anônima.
