    NOVA SERRANA: PM APRESENTA DADOS DE REDUÇÃO DE CRIMES E NOVO CHEFE DE COMUNICAÇÃO

    Após vivenciar um quadro de medo e insegurança, a população de Nova Serrana pode celebrar um cenário mais favorável com a queda na criminalidade. Desde 2017, ano marcado pela alta na violência, os órgãos de segurança pública têm se empenhado para promover a segurança e a paz social.

    Dados apresentados pela Polícia Militar à imprensa na tarde desta quinta-feira (20), mostram que no primeiro semestre de 2022 foram registrados 453 furtos no município. No mesmo período do ano passado foram 503 e no ano anterior 679. Em 2019, 2018 e 2017 foram 678, 673 e 810, respectivamente.

    Os roubos também tiveram tendência de queda: foram 148 nos seis primeiros meses deste ano contra 177 no primeiro semestre de 2021. No mesmo período de 2017 o registro era de 1.164.

    O maior destaque, no entanto, foi a redução de crimes violentos. Há cinco anos, a PM registrava a marca de mais de 1.200 ocorrências desta natureza. No ano seguinte, 737. Em 2019 e 2020, foram 531 e 350. Já no ano passado 211 e, neste ano, 188.

    A corporação defende que a participação da população, dicas de segurança pública, operações policiais e o trabalho do Setor de Inteligência são os fatores responsáveis pelos números conquistados.

    Durante o encontro, o comandante do 60º Batalhão de Polícia Militar, Tenente Coronel Herbert Ferreira Lanza Avelar, apresentou aos jornalistas o novo Chefe da Agência Local de Comunicação, Tenente Geraldo Rafael Antônio Souza. O objetivo foi estreitar os laços e fortalecer a parceria entre o 60º BPM e os membros da imprensa local.

    “O 60ºBPM continuará sempre fortalecendo as parcerias que contribuem com o trabalho da PMMG, e destacamos o importante papel que a imprensa tem nos meios sociais, levando dicas e informações fidedignas aos cidadãos que residem em nossa área de atuação”, disse a PM.
